Our Terrific Veterinarians

Dr. Cathy Cupples started this veterinary hospital as a way to not only perform the medicine that she thought best for your pet, but to also be a bigger part of our wonderful Pearland Community. Anyone that has known Dr. Cupples over the past 11 years that she has been a veterinarian here, knows how much she truly cares about them and their pets. Dr. Cupples is a high energy, compassionate doctor and she has been and will always be taking care of the pets, the people, and the entire community of Pearland and the surrounding area of Manvel and Fresno. She has grown our hospital to include two other veterinarians. You can schedule appointments with her on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and some Saturdays. 

Dr. Jenny Pirela joined us officially in February of 2020. She has known Dr. Cupples since vet school and has been a wonderful addition to our team. Dr. Pirela has allowed us to be even more prepared to provide the best care possible to the fur babies of Pearland. Dr. Pirela has been a veterinarian in the Pearland area for over 11 years. You can schedule with her on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and some Saturdays.

Dr. Allison Lagarde is the newest addition to our wonderful team of doctors. She is from the Texas A&M Class of 2022. We met Dr. Lagarde at the new hire conference in 2021 and we instantly clicked. We are so excited to welcome her to our team. She started here in June of 2022. She will take excellent care of your furry loved ones! You can schedule with her on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and some Saturdays.

Dr. Cassie Motley grew up in Pearland, Texas, and has always had a passion for animals and veterinary medicine. She is a proud Aggie, having graduated from Texas A&M with her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2019 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2026.

Dr. Motley first began her veterinary journey as a veterinary receptionist, later becoming a licensed veterinary technician before ultimately pursuing veterinary school. Her professional interests include internal medicine, cytology, and preventive medicine, and she enjoys the problem-solving and long-term relationships that come with caring for companion animals.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Motley enjoys spending time with her husband, Darrin, their six beloved pets, and their family, as well as being outdoors on the water and reading.

Dr. Motley is thrilled to be returning to her hometown of Pearland and looks forward to serving the community she has always loved.
